YAVE (yah-vey), the Young Adults Vocal Ensemble, is open to anyone aged 18-35, or after they have graduated from the Youth Choir program. Auditions are not required and anyone interested is welcome. This ensemble rehearses on Sundays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
YAVE participates from time to time in Sunday worship services, Chapel services and Soulful Sundown. The repertoire is ecclectic, but generally is more of a gospel/jazz/pop nature. From time to time this ensemble will explore classical and sacred traditions. A commitment to regular rehearsals and performances is necessary. Members often have a chance to perform with professional instrumental and vocal musicians from the greater Tulsa area.
