The ministers, staff, and Newcomers Board of All Souls make a special effort to welcome guests to our church and help them find ways to connect in the life of our church.
Stop by the visitor's table in the foyer every Sunday where you will be greeted by a Newcomers' Board member who can answer many of the questions you may have about our church. There you can also pick up a free lunch ticket to join us for lunch following the service. Be sure to seek out the ministers then. They would be happy to answer any burning questions you might have over lunch.
You are encouraged to sign up for the church newsletter, which will be mailed for several weeks following your visit. You can also access our current newsletter, called Parish Notes, on the website, as well as our journal publication on our monthly theme called Simple Gifts. We offer classes that provide history, information, and networking opportunities within the All Souls congregation and the larger faith community. We suggest that you begin with All Souls 101 to familiarize yourself with our church followed by Roots to familiarize yourself with our churches placement in history. Roots is a four-part series of classes taught by one of the ministers. It covers the history, principles, and traditions of All Souls and of the Unitarian Universalist movement. Old and new members are encouraged to take a Roots class.
Various social events are held throughout the year especially to help new members get to know each other, older members, and the church staff. Children are always welcome at All Souls. Religious Education programming is offered during Sunday morning services and Childcare is available for most adult religous education classes.
