Tech Volunteers

 Audio/Video Positions

Web Computer Operator
This job deals with starting, stopping, and maintaining the web computer. This person will be responsible for making sure the streaming has started and has a clear transmission. This person is also responsible for stopping the streaming after the service and making sure the screen is turned off before they leave. This person will report to the AV Coordinator

Video/ Camera Console Operator
This deals with using the camera controls and all three ( 2 mounted cams, and the manned cam). This person is responsible for doing camera shots throughout both services. This person will also be responsible for making sure the dvd recorders are loaded and recording during the services and making sure that a copy of both services is given to the AV Coordinator.

Screen/ Projection
This job involves using the projector and the media computer. This team is responsible for getting the media computer ready to run power points and media presentations. This team will need to make sure all presentations and media have been tested and ready to run at least 15 minutes prior to services.

FOH Console
This team will be in charge of controlling the FOH (Front Of House) system. One person will be controlling all vocal tracks and the other will me controlling all instruments and media. This team will be responsible for making sure all equipment has been tested and is in working order at least 15 minutes prior to all events/ services.

Manned Cam. Operator
This person is responsible for operating the manned camera. This person will be responsible for making sure all equipment has been tested and is in working order at least 15 minutes prior to all events/ services.

Recording/ Web Consoles
This person will be working on our recording console. This job includes creating a mix that accommodates our viewers online. This job also includes using our recording computer and software. This person will be responsible for making sure all equipment has been tested and is in working order at least 30 minutes prior to all events/ services.

Full Day Volunteers
Saturday nights from, 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sundays From 9 am - 2 p.m.

Per Service Volunteers
Saturday nights from, 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Sundays from 9 am - 11:15 am OR
Sundays from 10:30 am - 2 p.m.

Website & Social Media Positions

Website Maintenance Tech - This volunteer position is Sundays only, and/or as needed

  • The responsibilities of this position are to ensure that the website graphics and sermon information are updated on Sundays after the services of that day are finished. The Website Maintenance Tech (Tech) will take down any banner graphics of events have expired and post any new banners for upcoming events. Any graphics that need to be posted will be emailed to the Tech along with the sermon information that needs to be updated. The Tech will have access to the All Souls website with a security level that allows for such updates. Minister’s headshots are stored on the websites internal storage and therefore will be accessible once logged in.
  • 1+ years experience preferred
  • The Tech may be asked to fill in during times the Website Administrator is out ill or on vacation.
  • Telecommuting is acceptable as long as tasks are completed on Sunday after the days services are finished.

Social Media Manager - This volunteer postition is estimated at 1 hour per day. 

  • The Social Media Manager will be responsible for sending daily messages through social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter. Any events, such as Choir Concerts, Children’s Religious Education events, Youth events, All Church events, etc. are to be daily marketed via social media. Hoot Suite or a similar product may be used to manage all social media accounts that All Souls maintains. Our You Tube videos and audio podcasts should also be marketed via social media. 
  • The Social Media Manager will have access to all social media accounts and to the All Souls calendar to keep up with events.
  • 1+ years of social networking experience required.
  • Social Marketing experience a plus.
  • Telecommuting is required.
