Like many people of faith, All Souls Unitarian Church recognizes the sanctity of committed relationships, and celebrates the public proclamation and solemnization of unions between persons whom the state will not permit to be legally married.
Accordingly, the facilities of All Souls are available for services of union between same-sex couples on the same basis as for weddings. The rules and practices set forth in the foregoing sections on "The Wedding Service" and "The Reception" are equally applicable to services of union. We urge couples to arrange a conference with a Minister of the church as far in advance of the proposed ceremony as possible.
