Room 7 – at the far west end of the church’s lowest level 

Fred and Cheryl Schaefer, 20 year veterans of the All Souls Kindergarten Program, use the Around the Church, Around the Year curriculum to teach children all about their church home. Puppets, yoga and the arts enhance this curriculum. Children in the Kindergarten Program attend a brief Chapel service from 11:15-11:35 am most Sunday mornings. Because this worship time is important, we ask that parents and caregivers drop off or pick up their children from the classroom either before or after the scheduled Chapel time. Interruptions in our children’s worship are highly discouraged. Parents are always invited to worship with their children in Chapel. After Chapel, the kindergarteners have recess followed by yoga.

Schedule

• 10:00-11:15 Religious Education (9:45 Classrooms open)
• 11:15-11:35 Children’s Chapel*
• 11:35-12:00 Recess
• 12:00-12:45 Spiritual Expressions – Yoga 

*The first Sunday of each month, the kindergarteners will attend the Story for All Ages in the Sanctuary at approximately 11:55 with their teachers. There will be no Children’s Chapel on these Sundays.

Parents of the Month

Parents or guardians of children in kindergarten are asked to assist for one month during either the first or second service. Parents should check-in with teachers on Sunday at 9:55 am or 11:15 during their chosen month. Please indicate which month and time you prefer on your child's Registration Form.

Participants in the Kindergarten Program must have a completed Registration Form including a Medical and Field Trip Release Form on file or fill out a Visitor’s Card each week when attending.
