Participants in the Children’s Religious Program must have a completed Registration Form and Medical Release on file or fill out a Visitor’s Card each week they attend.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION The All Souls Kids (ASK) Program uses a multidimensional approach to religious education. Guides are adults who work with the children throughout the year on character- and community-building. Workshop leaders are guest facilitators who lead experiential workshops which explain, personify, and creatively and artistically articulate the monthly, church-wide theme in a way that is accessible to children and allows them to explore and stretch their spiritual and intellectual bounds. The workshops are based in Bible literacy and engage multiple intelligences (bodily/kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist, spiritual, verbal/linguistic, logical/mathematical, and visual/spatial). The activities in which the class is engaged dictates the room assignments. Please check the bulletin boards in the hallway each week for where to take your child, and to pick up name tag buttons.

CHILDREN’S CHAPEL Our Children have their own “Junior Church” worship service every Sunday that they are not with the adults in the Sanctuary. Led by our ministers and carefully selected lay leaders, Chapel mirrors the worship service that the adults experience in the Sanctuary each week. Because this worship time is important, we ask that parents and caregivers drop off or pick up their children from the classroom either before or after the scheduled Chapel time. Parents are always invited to worship with their children in Chapel.

SPIRITUAL EXPRESSIONS Using visual arts, drama, yoga and music, the children explore the monthly themes and develop and express their own spirituality with professional artists, further deepening their understanding of our themes and values.

*The first Sunday of each month, first through sixth graders will start at 10:00 am in the Sanctuary with their parents or teachers for the first twenty minutes of worship and go with their teachers to class after the Story for All Ages.

Children third grade and younger must be signed out of their classrooms by their parents.

Pick up children promptly following the second service.

All Children on the church grounds or in the church building on Sunday mornings must either be in programming or directly supervised by a parent or guardian.
