13 Democratic Presidential Debate:  In advance of the Oklahoma primary elections on February 5, local representatives from the Clinton, Edwards, and Obama campaigns discuss the positions and qualifications of their candidates.

20 Republican Presidential Debate:  Local representatives from the different Republican campaigns discuss the relative merits of their picks for president.

27  Our Elders Speak:  George Krumme delivers the next installment in this monthly series highlighting the wisdom and experience of our church elders.

February

3   The Fifth Annual All Souls Super Bowl ForumJames Donovan and crew provide their decidedly quirky insights and counterintuitive predictions for this year’s Super Bowl.

10  Race Relations in Tulsa:  Reuben Gant, President and CEO of the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, discusses new developments in north Tulsa and the state of race relations in our city.

17   Ada Lois Sipuel-FisherVanessa Adams returns to All Souls to portray Ada Lois Sipuel-Fisher, a civil rights leader in Oklahoma and the first African-American woman to attend a white law school in the South.

24  Our Elders Speak:  Ruth Staudt delivers the next installment in this monthly series highlighting the wisdom and experience of our church elders.

2   General Assembly:  Representatives of the associational affairs committee report on last year’s general assembly and give a preview of GA 2008. 

9    Building Tulsa, Building Lives:  Greg Shinn, associate director of the Mental Health Association, reports on the "Building Tulsa, Building Lives" program, an initiative to address homelessness in our community by providing long term housing in conjunction with comprehensive social services.

16 Prayer and the City Council:  A panel of civic leaders discusses the city council's recent decision to allow sectarian prayer at their meetings.

30  Our Elders Speak:  Marcia Smith delivers the next installment in this monthly series highlighting the wisdom and experience of our church elders.

6   Trans-Oklahoma:  Transgender individuals and GLBT activists discuss issues important to the transgender community in Oklahoma. 

13   Tulsa Roads: A panel of civic leaders discusses the condition of Tulsa roadways and how to pay for their rehabilitation.

20 Living the Faith to Overcome Mountains:  Inspirational speaker, author, and world record holder Todd  Huston shares stories of faith and determination from his career as a disabled mountain climber.

27  Our Elders Speak:  Jill Tarbel delivers the next installment in this monthly series highlighting the wisdom and experience of our church elders.

 4    Presidential Diversions:  Renowned historian and author Paul Boller presents on his latest book Presidential Diversions.
