The ministers, staff, and adult religious education board of All Souls work together to develop a diverse array of classes for adults in our church community. These classes are designed to:
-
Facilitate religious and spiritual development;
-
Provide a space for open discussion of religious and secular matters;
-
Reflect and serve the larger purposes of a free church;
-
Serve as a witness to freedom and tolerance;
-
Serve justice within the larger community, and
-
Affirm life in its diversity and magnitude.
Classes requiring pre-registration are so noted. Class schedules are subject to change. Please confirm the current schedule by checking Parish Notes, weekly email update, or this website.
Most of our programs are open to the general public as well as to members and friends of the congregation. Visitors often find that attending our adult education classes proves to be a comfortable way of getting to know members of our community and our free religious vision.
For more information, contact Brian Cross, adult religious education coordinator (743-2805, ext. 503, arecoordinator@allsoulschurch.org), or Greer Fites, chair of the adult religious education board (744-8178).
Sunday classes offer the opportunity for deeper study of various religious, secular, and self-development themes. Sunday classes are taught by our professional ministers and lay leaders. Check the signs at the entrances and in the foyer for information on the location of each class.
This intergenerational program offers food for the body, mind, and soul. All are welcome to partake of the many opportunities for worship, learning and fellowship. Dinner starts at 5:15 pm, chapel service at 6:30, and classes at 7:00.
